We came together as a community during graduation time for our neighbors in Bridgeport.

I invite you to join me in showing our love for the phenomenal Westport teachers and school staff on the first day of school!

Our teachers and school staff are someone’s sons/daughters, brothers/sisters, husband/wives, mothers/fathers and as we get ready to open our schools for a new academic year, the teachers and staff are facing a huge dilemma about being true to their calling and balancing that with the health of their own families.

School starts next Tuesday and our teachers and all members of board of education have worked very hard to adapt and prepare for the new reality

of educating our children.
